**********
Welcome to the website O.S.J.G. run and owned entirely by William H. Flowers. Within this site you will find history and other facts pertaining to glass made in the Southern part of New Jersey from 1739 until about 1940. Glass in the form of bottles and window panes were made in large quantities utilitarian objects were also made but that's not it ! some of the objects created had no real function what so ever other than for aesthetic appeal these items should be considered American Folk Art. Along with the history provided I offer a visual look at the different types of glass objects made in South Jersey at that time. I will be offering for sale a variety of items in different categories to include early blown glass, bottles , flasks, stoneware, redware, samplers and more! Many of these items have New Jersey origins.
I will add South Jersey related articles and antiques for sale regularly. With in this website there is a Bulletin Board for people to post questions, make comments or to list things they are looking to either buy or to sell or you can email me.
