Wonderful 1826 hand cut and painted Scherenschnitte found in upper NYS. Watercolor painted with the heart and hand,oak leaf,holly leaf and berry ,sword, acorn, house and peafowl all symbolic meanings possibly executed by a school girl commemorating her parents. Concerved in a contemporary grain painted frame.
