Very early small unusual American or English one drawer lift top box. Unsure of its intended use. Original period brasses, dovedtailed case,pegged and a mortised drawer. Looks to be Chestnut with a softwood used on bottom and drawer . Aproxx. 9 3/8" x 4 1/8" x 5"
